Ariana Grande Steps Out in NYC Wearing White Gianvito Rossi Pumps Amid ‘Wicked’ Press Tour
More from Footwear News
Amid a whirlwind “Wicked” press tour, Ariana Grande was back in Gianvito Rossi white pumps the night of Nov. 12, stepping out arm-in-arm in New York City with co-star Cynthia Erivo, the Elphaba to her Glinda.
Grande and Erivo have epitomized Oz-chic fashion lately, bringing their respective characters offscreen with a slew of designer looks, most of which are pink and green. Grande, however, who plays the “good witch” Glinda, has been showing off a few elegant white ensembles as well.
She was out in New York last night wearing what looked like a long white dress or skirt underneath a contrasting black ankle-length jacket which was cinched at the waist. With her jacket mostly obscuring her outfit, her shoes made a major statement as she strolled the city streets.
Grande unified her look with a pair of white Gianvito 105 pumps from the luxury Italian footwear brand Gianvito Rossi, which remains a go-to brand for a wide array of celebrities. Referred to as one of the brand’s signature styles, the pump features a 105 mm, or 4.1 inch, stiletto heel in addition to a pointed toe. It’s crafted from Nappa leather and handmade in Italy. Available in additional colors and fabrics, the Gianvito 105 retails for $795.
This outing in the Italian label follows Grande wearing a white custom version of the Gianvito 105 when attending a special “Wicked” screening at the DGA Theater in New York City on Oct. 28.
The same evening of Nov. 12 in New York, Grande tapped into her inner Glinda with a pink embroidered dress and satiny pink pumps, specifically the custom Jimmy Choo Romy pair she slipped on at this year’s Oscars. See more of her “Wicked” press tour looks below.
