"Happy Birthday Arnold! You’re one of a kind," wrote Pratt in his heartfelt tribute
Chris Pratt is celebrating his father-in-law Arnold Schwarzenegger's 77th birthday with a heartfelt tribute.
On Tuesday, July 30, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor, 45, marked the former California governor's special day by praising him on Instagram.
"Happy Birthday Arnold! You’re one of a kind. Looking forward to another year of sage advice, good cigars, chess whoopings and hand feeding homemade cookies to the many barn animals that live in your kitchen," wrote Pratt.

The post began with a black-and-white photograph of the two playing chess. It was followed by a picture of Pratt smiling as he posed for a photo behind Schwarzenegger, who was sitting on a sofa chair.
The last photo showed what appeared to be he and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt's two daughters, Lyla, 3, and Eloise, 2, playing in a kitchen with their grandfather and a pig. Pratt is also a father to 11-year-old son Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris.

While speaking with PEOPLE in May 2023, Pratt opened up what his father-in-law's support means to him.
"Arnold's support means the world to me on a couple different levels. Just being his son-in-law and being part of his family, it obviously means a lot to have his support," he said.
"But then on another level, just being somebody who grew up loving his movies, the big action hero — I dreamed of being Commando and dreamed of being the soldier from Predator, and I loved Terminator," continued Pratt. "So him to give me kudos for going out and being on the marquee is really kind of mind-blowing."
That October, Schwarzenegger shared with PEOPLE what he enjoys most about being a grandfather.

"It’s a fun thing, because I [didn’t] know how good I would be. But I have the animals, so it’s an easy thing. I teach [Lyla] how to feed the horses. She was scared in the beginning, but she got used to it," he said.
