Artist imagined 'Riverdale' characters as Disney couples, and you're going to want to see the results

The Riverdale obsession is real.

André Manguba, an art student in Manila, is such a fan of the show that it inspired him to pick up his colored pencils. He mixed his appreciation for the dark take on the “Archie” comic book series with another of his passions since he was a little kid, Disney.

The result is a collection of fun images that his followers are loving.

Fans were delighted.

“Look how amazing,” read one comment.

The art was also described as “so freaking good” and “sublime.”

K.J. Apa, who plays Archie, and Camila Mendes (Veronica) stepped in for the Hercules lead characters, Hercules and Megara.

Manguba said he carefully chose each Riverdale resident’s Disney-inspired look.

“So much brainstorming takes place in creating these artworks,” Manguba told Yahoo Entertainment. “I mainly focused on the personas and traits of the Riverdale cast and matched them with Disney characters.”

He turned Vanessa Morgan and Madelaine Petsch into Moana, from the film Moana, and Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

The honor of dressing up as Beauty and the Beast‘s Belle and the post-transformation Beast went to Riverdale‘s Skeet Ulrich and Madchen Amick.
