Ashanti Turns Heads in Western-Style Boots While Celebrating Husband Nelly’s Cowboy-Inspired 50th Birthday Bash

Ashanti was spotted in a pair of black suede boots while attending Nelly’s “Hallowestern” 50th birthday party on Thursday in Atlanta.
The boots, which served as a compliment to her matching leather outfit, were constructed with a pointed-toe design and emphasized by a brown leather belt buckle around the mid-foot region. Extending slightly over her knee, the silhouette was finished with a chunky block heel measuring between 2-to-3 inches in height.
When it comes to footwear, the “Foolish” singer tends to gravitate towards the likes of Stuart Weitzman, Tom Ford and Jessica Rich, who are among her favorites in the designer footwear realm.
As for the rest of her outfit, the new mom wore a black leather minidress with lace detailing and a black suede cropped jacket to match her boots and the party’s Halloween and Western themes. Placed in the center of the dress was a star leather buckle.
A suede fedora with a silver necklace were her accessory choices for the evening, as she tied her hair back in a ponytail to highlight both. Continuing the Halloween themes from the night before, she wore her makeup in a dark, vampy style with burgundy lipstick and silver eyeshadow.
The rapper, whose birthday is Nov. 2, was also in the Western spirit wearing leather chaps, with black leather boots, a brown vest and a cowboy hat at the event.
The singer was recently spotted in another pair of standout boots while performing the National Anthem before Game 4 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium in New York City. The boots, which were from Dolce & Gabbana featured a pointed-toe design, intentional distressing and stitching, a pocket on one side, and a removable crystal buckle belt. Rounding out the style was a sharp stiletto heel that measured over 4 inches high and a DG logo appliqué at the heel. The boots also continued the denim theme with a patchwork design.
The boots were paired alongside a blue faux chinchilla fur coat by Adrienne Landau with a cropped cut over a navy Yankees T-shirt that she tucked into acid-wash skinny jeans with elastic ankle cuffs.
