Ashley Benson Addresses Ozempic Accusations After Post-Baby Weight Loss
Ashley Benson is officially putting the rumors about her postpartum weight loss journey to rest.
The Pretty Little Liars alum welcomed her first child with her husband, Brandon Davis, this past February, and in the months since she had her daughter, Benson said she's prioritized her own fitness goals and has "work[ed] very hard" to get her "body back." Online trolls have speculated otherwise, suggesting that the actress was one of the many celebs turning to prescription medications like Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro to help them lose weight.
On Monday, June 17, the 34-year-old reposted a full-body selfie flaunting her toned physique to her Instagram Story, calling out a series of comments that suggested she was taking the type 2 diabetes medication turned controversial weight-loss drug to help her reach her fitness goals.

The original image, which she shared earlier that same day, was captioned "my fave hat." It showed the McVeigh star standing before a full-length mirror wearing a form-fitting black tank top, low-rise gray sweatpants, white socks and a pair of black Birkenstock sandals. Benson posed for the selfie wearing a few key accessories, including a red trucker hat from Los Angeles-based Mexican restaurant Casa Vega, black shades, her AirPods and a Gucci handbag.
"Comments like this are so funny to me. I know a lot of people take ozempic and that's totally fine. To each their own," she began in her subsequent story that featured a screenshot of comments from fans alleging her slimmed-down frame was the result of using drugs like Ozempic. "But don't discredit people who also work very hard to get their body back like I've done with mine."
"Getting back to work forced me to focus on my health and working out and I wanted to feel confident and good about myself," Benson added before clarifying that the only assistance she's had is from certified health and wellness coach Melissa Wood-Tepperbeg.
"And again couldn't do this without my @melissawoodtepperberg app," she concluded.
Her original selfie has since become overrun with comments supporting Benson and her fitness journey. Among those cheering her on was the fitness and mindfulness coach who reshared the Wilderness star's comment to her own Story.
"It's a way of life!!!!" Wood-Tepperbeg added in part. "When you walk away from moving your body this way, you feel it. Not just in your body, but mostly in your mind."
"You tell em @ashleybenson," she concluded.
