Ashton Kutcher Says He & Mila Kunis Parent Their Daughter & Son in Wildly Different Ways in Rare Interview
Ashton Kutcher revealed in a super-rare interview that he and Mila Kunis parent their children in wildly different ways. However, he’s not talking about parenting styles; he’s talking about how they each parent their daughter and son in dramatically different ways.
On a recent episode of the Throwbacks with Matt Leinart & Jerry Ferrara podcast, Kutcher talked about how he treats his daughter and son differently, and how Kunis does the same, but in reverse.

“I don’t know if it equates to being a girl dad or it equates to her being my first, but when I had my daughter, I had never been so in love in my entire life. Mila and I talked about it a lot. I’ve never loved anyone this much ever,” he said.
He also talked about the different approaches he takes for both.
“My son, I’m always like, ‘Yeah, go for it,'” he said. “Like yesterday, we were popping wheelies on a bicycle in the driveway. Or it’s like, ‘See if you can jump down four stairs.’ [But] my daughter, I just want to protect her.”
In the podcast, he talked about how Kunis is the opposite with their kids, saying, “I also notice the same thing with my wife. She’s very strict with our daughter and a gushball with our son. I think we balance each other in that way.”
Despite meeting on the set of That 70s Show when she was 14 and he was around 19, they ended up together later. They reconnected as friends in 2012, but a romance bloomed soon after. They got engaged in Feb 2014, and married the following year.
They later welcomed two children named Wyatt Isabelle, born in Oct 2014, and a son named Dimitri Portwood, born in Nov 2016.
