Attendance down for Milwaukee Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival's Veterans Park concerts
The roar of the crowd from Veterans Park for the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival last weekend wasn't quite as loud as last year — but it was still pretty loud.
The Milwaukee motorcycle company reported that attendance for two days of concerts at the park — featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jelly Roll, Hardy, The Offspring, Cypress Hill, Warren Zeiders, Priscilla Block and more — topped 60,000 people. That's down from more than 80,000 people who attended the Veterans Park concerts for the inaugural Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival last year, led by Foo Fighters and Green Day.
However, this year's festival did fall on an extremely busy weekend in the Milwaukee area, which included the WaterStone Air & Water Show; German Fest; a three-night run with Phish at Alpine Valley Music Theatre; and American Family Insurance Amphitheater concerts with Santana and Alanis Morissette.

Taking place July 25 to 28, the Homecoming also saw more than 36,000 people visit the Harley-Davidson Museum, which hosted its own concerts and events. Also, more than 1,600 people took a self-guided tour of the Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations, and more than 1,500 people took a guided Juneau Avenue Historical Tour around Harley-Davidson's headquarters and its new Davidson Park.
Harley traditionally held a big anniversary bash across Milwaukee every five years, often led by A-listers like Bruce Springsteen, Elton John and Aerosmith. But the rebranded Homecoming Festival that started last year for the company's 120th anniversary will be an annual event. Harley already announced the Homecoming dates for 2025: July 10 to 13.
