Inspired by creator Robb Cullen’s life, the story follows Joe, a blue-collar plumber who discovers that his recently deceased father lived a double life working for the Russian mob and stole millions of dollars from them. After being attacked by these dangerous associates looking for the lost funds, he’s forced to kill in self-defense. What follows is a race against time to uncover the whole truth about his dad and find the missing money before the others come for him.
Season 1 ended on a major cliffhanger that saw Joe receive an unannounced visitor. After opening the door, he cried out, “Dear God, no!” and the screen cut to black before we could see what happened next. (Read our full finale recap here.)
Michael Trucco, who plays Touch in the series, previously spoke on the possibility of the show’s Season 2 renewal.
“There are musings…,” he told TVLine. “Everybody involved would love nothing more — the creators, the cast, we all still hold a torch for it. [That’s] a show I wish more people had seen, that we could get more eyeballs on, and I think something’s in the works that might facilitate that. I can’t say with certainty, but the enthusiasm and the desire [for a Season 2] is there, yes.
Season 1, which last streamed in August 2023, will head to Netflix this summer, according to Deadline (who was first to report the story.)
