From household names like Jerry Seinfeld to contemporary powerhouses Margaret Cho and John Mulaney, The Classic Center Theatre has been the venue of choice for some of the most recognized figures in the world of stage comedy. Next year, that tradition will continue when the Classic Center hosts award-winning actor, author and stand-up comedian Maria Bamford at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 22.

Exclusive presale tickets for Bamford's performance are now available to members of The Classic Center Cultural Foundation, and tickets for the general public are scheduled to go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. Friday. According to the Classic Center's website, seating prices range from $21.50 to $51.50. Bamford's current tour will see her play Atlanta in January 2025 and is expected to conclude in Canada next summer. They are available online at classiccenter.com/1681/Maria-Bamford.

Dubbed "the funniest woman in the world" by comedy guru Judd Apatow, Bamford is known for her mental health advocacy on stage and off, and was the inaugural recipient of the International OCD Foundation's Illumination Award. Bamford's 2023 memoir “Sure, I’ll Join Your Cult” became a New York Times bestseller, and she has done voice acting for Netflix’s “BoJack Horseman” and Cartoon Network’s “Adventure Time.”
