'When Axl Rose and Sebastian Bach lecture you on climate change, you've been righteously burned': Metalheads unite to school Trump over wildfire comments
Axl Rose/Sebastian Bach 2020? While we’ll never see that presidential ticket,
the iconic glam rockers have won the internet over their comments against President Trump.
You may have heard that the Guns N’ Roses singer has been outspoken against Trump, and he reacted to the president’s illogical and widely criticized tweet blaming the California fires on forest mismanagement.
Um…actually…it’s a lack of federal funding that’s at the “root” of the purported forest mismanagement. Only a demented n’ truly pathetic individual would twist that around n’ use a tragedy to once again misrepresent facts for attempted public/political gain at other’s expense
— Axl Rose (@axlrose) November 11, 2018
The Skid Row frontman did the same.
Oh my God. Thousand Oaks is not in the forest. Agoura Hills is not in the forest. Malibu is not in the forest. the reason for these fires is called #climatechange . It's called #science . And it's only going to get worse because you don't know or care what a forest is https://t.co/jgmttVxpD6

Clearly not a Trump fan, Bach added:
We don't have a President https://t.co/Y6BcRPlpyk
— Sebastian Bach (@sebastianbach) November 10, 2018
And when Trump (or someone using his account) posted something a little nicer about the fires, which have left mass destruction and aren’t yet contained, Bach had words about that too.
God Bless Them All?
You are the most USELESS human being to ever walk the Planet Earth.
Except the useless idiots who actually vote for you 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕 https://t.co/IVuIKmtDUg— Sebastian Bach (@sebastianbach) November 11, 2018
But Bach’s Trump bashing brought trolls, many of them climate change deniers, who posted snarky responses. Not surprisingly, he didn’t let them go. “Stick to your 5 followers a** clown” and “Get some new material #LifetimeLoser” were some of his responses. One of his fiercest, though, was in response to a criticism on Rose’s post.
Fuck off with all your capital letters 🖕
— Sebastian Bach (@sebastianbach) November 11, 2018
He was clearly ready for battle.
It takes an asshole to deal with an asshole. I am more than equipped and I am more than ready
— Sebastian Bach (@sebastianbach) November 11, 2018
The one-two punch from the hair-band greats — who have long been pals — had the internet cheering. However, as many pointed out, when once-wild rock stars are the voices of reason, we should be really worried about our country.

AXL ROSE: hi, I’m Axl Rose from Guns n’ Roses
SEBASTIAN BACH: and I’m Sebastian Bach from Skid Row
AR and SB: [in unison] AND WE’RE HERE TO ROCK YOU WITH THE TRUTH ABOUT HOW A LACK OF FEDERAL FUNDING CAN NEGATIVELY IMPACT THE ENVIRONMENT pic.twitter.com/OsevwVDRHk— Born Miserable (@bornmiserable) November 11, 2018
Sebastian Bach stepping in to defend Axl Rose is the best thing I’ve seen on this site this week pic.twitter.com/Gj0SvLBI0U

Go to thread to be amazed/impressed by Axl Rose calling out the POTUS, stay for Skid Row's Sebastian Bach owning a MAGA for all-caps usage https://t.co/VUkuM06B3J

Axl Rose redemption arc wasn't what I expected out of 2018, but here we are. (Bach's been fine for a while, but glad to see he's keeping up with it. ) https://t.co/osOMxgCKbM

I suggest an Axl Rose/Sebastian Bach vs Kid Rock/Ted Nugent debate on political issues with all funds going to a charity supporting democracy. https://t.co/S7cYJxWMHx

I mean, how dumb do you have to be to argue with Axl Rose and not expect Sebastian Bach to jump in as backup? pic.twitter.com/ST1je0W8ew

Axl Rose and Sebastian Bach just tag-team burned a MAGA troll. What a time to be alive. https://t.co/9T0ESTZuIZ

Axl Rose and Sebastian Bach coming for conservatives on twitter is the best thing to read at 8 in the morning

Bach and Rose have been great friends since the late ’80s — the decade their iconic bands exploded onto the music scene — and have even toured together. Prior to Trump’s election, Bach, a Canadian living in the U.S., publicly ripped the reality star turned politico. “Say what you want about Obama but watching him leave and then watching the clowns that can replace him is just truly sad,” he said. “That is a sad situation.” Rose has recently gotten attention for his anti-Trump stance.
