Azealia Banks Attends Trump Rally In Florida: “Trump Invited The Gang”
Azealia Banks is no stranger to catching heat for the things she says and does, as her most recent drawback comes from a certain political endorsement.
On Tuesday (July 9), the singer was spotted by attendees at a Donald Trump rally in Doral, Florida, along with a few other familiar faces.
As Banks’ attendance wasn’t a surprise for some, she still made it be known on her Instagram Story that she was there because “Trump invited the gang.”
In a clip, the “Chasing Time” artist was asked how she felt about the disgraced presidential candidate, to which her response was unclear due to his loud speech.
“@realdonaldtrump invited @azealiabanksforever and I to talk about ‘Hispanic jobs’ …he even posted us,” a music promoter who goes by Jake_Inphamopus captioned the clip. He was clearly referring to Trump mentioning “Black jobs” in his most recent presidential debate against President Biden.
In more footage, Banks could be seen flicking it up with other Trump supporters, and sporting her red ensemble proudly.
The Harlem native has been very vocal about supporting Trump, especially in her 2023 interview with Standard.
“He’s just f**king funny,” she said at the time. “He’s been through how many bankruptcies? How many wives? How many television shows? Seriously, nothing can take him down.”
Back then, she also shared her feelings on other serious matters such as gun violence and mass destruction. The 33-year-old said that she felt Florida was safer because “everyone carries a gun” and people “absolutely need” them.
Lending her opinion on who’s more impulsive when it comes to nuclear weaponry, she spoke of Trump. “He didn’t press it the first time,” she said. “You never know, Biden might hit the wrong sh*t on the antennae and blow the whole thing up.”
