‘Baby Reindeer’ Brushes Off Controversy As Netflix Series Secures 11 Emmy Nominations
Baby Reindeer has cemented its status as one of the breakout hits of 2024 by bagging a total of 11 Emmy nominations, including for best limited or anthology series.

Baby Reindeer has been a hit with Emmy voters despite a scandal over the series, which is one of Netflix’s most-watched English-language shows on record.
Netflix is fighting a $170M defamation and negligence lawsuit from Fiona Harvey, the woman who claims to be the real-life Martha (Gunning), the supposedly convicted stalker in Gadd’s “true story.”
Harvey has argued that she was not convicted of stalking Gadd and that Baby Reindeer has caused her “emotional distress” after she was identified within days by internet sleuths.
Final round Emmy voting will begin on August 15 before closing on August 26. ABC will broadcast the 76th Emmy Awards live on Sunday, September 15.
