Bachelor Nation lights up Twitter after 'DWTS' champion is crowned
Hannah Brown was living her best life during Monday’s season finale of Dancing With the Stars. The former The Bachelorette contestant ended up winning the Mirrorball Trophy.
Brown was regularly one of the top scoring dancers throughout the series. But she was the only remaining contestant that had never been in the bottom two for elimination, thanks to the consistent voting by fans.
Going into the finale, many of Brown’s fans were worried that Ally Brooke’s would win because she was the judges’ favorite. In fact, on three separate occasions the judges elected to save Brooke’s from the bottom two elimination.
Brown had two wonderful performances, starting with a lovely Vienna Waltz that earned her a combined score of 28 out of 30.
It was Brown’s freestyle dance, however, that made all the judges smile. She earned her first perfect score of the season. And it turned out to be the perfect foreshadowing for events to come, as Brown was crowned the champion.
Many fans took to celebrate her win, but it was the Bachelor Nation that had the largest presence. Not only did The Bachelorette tweet out, but so did several of the former contestants.
That was the most dramatic #DWTSFinale! Congratulations to @HannahBrown and @Dance10Alan on winning #DWTS! We’re so proud of you! ??🎉 pic.twitter.com/Busk6lLOK0
