Every Jaw-Dropping Engagement Ring From 'The Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette'

OK, yeah, sure we all tune in to the Bachelor and Bachelorette finales to see who gets the final rose. But let’s be real — what we’re really interested in is whether someone pops the question. If they do, we’re all about the bling, baby. After all, most of us watching aren’t running out to have one-on-one consultations with jeweler-to-the-stars Neil Lane. And we definitely aren’t plunking down $100k or more on an engagement ring. So, we’ll be the first to admit we live vicariously through Bachelor Nation’s sparklers.
Plus, it’s hard not to feel a little invested in the final outcome when you’ve gotten a sneak peek of the process. As Bachelor Nation fans know, suitors and suitor-ettes (holler at our girl, Demi!) meet with Lane ahead of each season’s big finale to look at an array of ring choices. However, we aren’t privy to which one made the cut until the question is popped.

'The Bachelor' Finale Part Two Recap: Peter Ends Up with Madison & Mom Barbara Loses Her Mind
And with the season 24 finale, while Peter Weber called it off with Hannah Ann after his proposal, he did spend some time with Neil Lane picking out a beautiful ring.

But in taking a stroll down memory lane, with 24 seasons of The Bachelor and 15 seasons of The Bachelorette, a lot of hardware has crossed our screens to look at (drool over) — here’s the biggest and best of the bunch.
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers
Fans weren’t 100 percent sold on Jordan Rodgers’ trustworthiness during JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette. But trust this: The $85,000 ring he chose was a winner. Weighing in at over 3.5 carats, it featured an oval-cut center stone and band with over 155 smaller round diamonds. And hey, it did the trick! Fletcher and Rodgers are still happily engaged. In fact, he even re-proposed with a new ring last August because he wanted that moment to reflect “just us.”
Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk Jr.
When Arie Luyendyk Jr. asked Lauren Burnham to be his wife, he did so with a cushion-cut diamond surrounded by a diamond halo. Coming in at 3.65 carats, it boasted 170 smaller round-cut diamonds and two baguette stones on each side for a bit of modern-meets-vintage glamour. This was not a proposal free of drama, though. Arie Luyendyk Jr. actually popped the question to Becca Kufrin first before very publicly breaking off their engagement and asking Burnham to marry him. All’s well that end’s well, though, and these two have since gotten married (twice, even) and have a precious baby girl. Kufrin also got her own season and is currently engaged (more on that in a minute).
Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen
See? Kufrin got her happy ending, too! Or at least she’s headed in that direction. During her season of The Bachelorette, contestant Garrett Yrigoyen got down on one knee in the Maldives to give Kufrin this 18-karat yellow gold three-stone engagement ring. And while he’s made some questionable choices along the way, this 3.76-carat showstopper wasn’t one of them. It’s undeniably one of the most distinctive rings of the Bachelor Nation bunch.
Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter
The very first Bachelorette Trista Rehn (now Sutter) set the standard for the franchise in more ways than one. Not only did she go on to marry her pick Ryan Sutter, but the pair is still happy and are now parents. This isn’t actually the ring Sutter proposed with because, well, it’s been a minute. For the couple’s 10-year anniversary vow renewal, Lane hooked Sutter up with this emerald-cut diamond surrounded by 208 pink and white diamonds to give his wife.
Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo
Miami-based chiropractor Bryan Abasolo clearly has good instincts when it comes to keeping lawyer Rachel Lindsay happy. He opted for this three-carat pear-shaped ring with a halo of diamonds to ask her to marry him and, not surprisingly, she said yes. Two years after getting engaged, these two lovebirds tied the knot during a dreamy beach wedding in Mexico.
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell
After a somewhat rocky wrap-up to his season of The Bachelor, Higgins ended things on a high note by proposing to bubbly Lauren Bushnell with a 4.25-carat center stone engagement ring — the largest so far to be picked on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Not even the gorgeous Art Deco gem could save their relationship, though. The two amicably split. And not to bag on Higgins or any of the other Bachelor Nation boys, but Bushnell’s now-husband, country singer Chris Lane, delivered one of the most romantic proposals ever. You can watch it here.
Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth
When Kaitlyn Bristowe accepted Shawn Booth’s 3.5-carat round-cut stone, we all believed this was the start of their happily ever after. The most expensive engagement ring so far on The Bachelorette, the $150,000 sparkler was every bit as beautiful as their love story. Alas, ’twas not meant to be. They called it quits after three years, and she’s currently dating Bachelorette alum Jason Tartick.
Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray
Let it be said that Josh Murray threw up a lot of red flags during his courtship with Andi Dorfman. Still, they made it all the way to the finale, where he proposed with this stunning (and gigantic!) oval-cut diamond ring. The split eight months later, the beautiful ring was returned, and Murray went on to wreak havoc on Amanda Stanton’s heart following a stint on Bachelor in Paradise. That ring, though… sigh.
Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici
Yay, here comes a real-life Bachelor Nation fairytale! Like Rehn and Sutter, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici ended up together at the end of his season of The Bachelor. And they’re still together! They got a solid start thanks to this 3.15-carat Neil Lane stunner with a cushion-cut diamond. The two got hitched in a televised ceremony on January 26, 2014, and are now proud parents.
Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried
Perhaps one of Bachelor Nation’s least discussed but longest-lasting couples, Chris Siegried proposed to Desiree Hartsock with this truly beautiful platinum and rose gold engagement ring featuring a cushion-cut center stone and 200 smaller diamonds. With a ring like that, it’s little wonder these two have lasted (plus, you know, their love and stuff). They got married in 2015 in a rustic California ceremony.
Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski
Not gonna lie… this reportedly $60,000 engagement ring may be impressive, but it isn’t one of our favorites. Then again, neither was slippery ol’ Ed Swiderski, who ultimately got the boot from Bachelorette Jillian Harris after he cheated on her. She’s now engaged to longtime boyfriend Justin Pasutto, and the couple shares two children.
Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez
You just can’t tell a relationship won’t stand the test of time by the engagement ring. Case in point? Ali Fedotowsky accepted this timeless Asscher-cut diamond from Roberto Martinez on season six of The Bachelorette, but the two ended their engagement in November 2011. She began dating radio and television host Kevin Manno in 2013, the two got engaged in 2015, and they got married in 2017. They have two children together.
Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum
Say hello to another Bachelor Nation success story, because Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum are definitely in it for the long haul. After Rosenbaum slipped this sophisticated cushion-cut stone with halo setting on Hebert’s finger, the two went on to tie the knot in December 2012 (an ABC wedding, no less). They’re now parents.
Jef Holm and Emily Maynard
Some love stories simply aren’t meant to last. Such was the case for Jef Holm and Emily Maynard but, dang, what a rock he put on her finger! According to Lane, he designed six rings with Maynard in mind (the jeweler gushed that she “exudes grace and style”). However, this one chosen by Holm was his favorite. It’s a shame it had to be returned when the two split a few months later, but she’s since remarried and started a family.
