The celebrities and pros have yet to be announced, but judges Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba are confirmed to return. Host Alfonso Ribeiro will also be back, along with Julianne Hough, who is returning for her second season as co-host. Following the pattern of previous years, the Season 33 contestants and their professional partners will likely be revealed on Good Morning America about two weeks before the premiere.

Right after the premiere, the new crime drama High Potential will debut at 10/9c. The series stars It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia alum Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, a single mom with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual partnership with a by-the-book detective. Joan Vassos’ journey to find love on The Golden Bachelorette will then begin on Sept. 18.

ABC’s fall lineup will also feature new seasons of 9-1-1, Grey’s Anatomy, and Abbott Elementary, as well as the the series premiere of Ryan Murphy’s Doctor Odyssey. Meanwhile, Season 7 of The Rookie, Season 3 of Will Trent, and the final season of The Conners will be held until January 2025. “At the top of January, we have New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, which is one of the big live events of the broadcast season and provides tremendous promotional opportunity, so we’re going to use that for The Rookie and Will Trent, both shows which continue to grow and are true darlings of both ABC and the audience,” Disney Television Group president Craig Erwich told Variety of the decision to push The Rookie and Will Trent to midseason. “Additionally, and as importantly, having them come ion in January will allow them to have uninterrupted runs where they can continue to gather momentum and with a huge swatch of original episodes.”

In addition to Dancing with the Stars, new seasons of unscripted series such as Shark Tank, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Press Your Luck, and Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will be airing this fall.
