Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell’s Son Is Headed to Broadway
Brian Littrell’s 13-year-old son is all grown up and headed to the Great White Way. Baylee is following in his dad’s musical footsteps and is set to make his Broadway debut in Disaster! when it opens in New York on March 8.
“When I think about it, I accomplished something that not a lot of people get to achieve in their life,” the teen told the Associated Press. “I’m still a little shocked. It still hasn’t come out of my mind yet."
Talk about some seriously talented genes. Back in the day, the boy bander’s son used to come up on stage and sing from time to time on his tours. "He’s way better than both of us put together,” Baylee’s mom, Leighanne Wallace, told the AP.
But Baylee’s parents, who met on the set of the music video for “As Long As You Love Me,” weren’t eager to force their kid into showbiz. “We’re not those parents to push him in any direction. We’re just supportive and loving in whatever he wants to do,” Brian said. “He could be a trash man or a schoolteacher, it doesn’t matter. We’re here to love him."
