Bad Bunny looks dapper on Met Gala red carpet in open-back Jacquemus suit, rosette cape
Bad Bunny looked dashing on the Met Gala carpet in a white suit and rosette covered cape by Jacquemus.
He was Met Gala formal from the front and after-party fun from the back.
The "Tití Me Preguntó" singer's look included a feature that really should permeate suit culture going forward: An open backed jacket. He paired the look Monday night with a floor-dusting cape covered with roses and a chain with an initial pendant featuring the letter "J." He wore his hair shiny and slicked back with pearl studs.
The designer shared a peek at the making of what presumably was Bad Bunny's Met Gala outfit on Instagram.
On Tuesday, Jacquemus shared photos of the two on the carpet, writing that he was "so proud" to attend his first Met Gala with his "favorite artist, Bad Bunny."
"This Met means so much to me, Karl was my favorite designer and the first who supported me," he continued. "I designed these looks as a tribute to Karl, to honour his memory and incredible legacy."
Bad Bunny was also the star of Jacquemus' 2022 spring campaign, per Harper's Bazaar.
Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is on a roll — and a big one at that. The enigmatic Puerto Rican superstar transcended music in a historic two-hour performance last month as the first Latino solo artist headliner in the history of the Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival.
The 29-year-old was most-streamed worldwide in 2022, has been named Spotify's most-streamed artist three years in a row, won three Grammys and continues to break his own records.

The Met Gala marks another occasion in which Bad Bunny and model Kendall Jenner have been in the same place at the same time — but not together.
The singer and model arrived separately at the Met Gala red carpet Monday night. Bad Bunny was later seen with Jenner and her sisters, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, at what appears to be a hotel after the event, according to video shared on social media.
However, while the rumored couple was not seen together at the Met Gala, Bad Bunny and Jenner reportedly kept the party going at a Met Gala after-party. Photos obtained by various outlets, including People magazine and Entertainment Tonight, show the pair walking side by side.
Jenner wore a sheer, sequined Nensi Dojaka bodysuit with a black thong, while Bad Bunny looked suave in a brown jacket and white t-shirt with espresso brown slacks.
The two have been at the center of relationship rumors with paparazzi pictures of the pair kissing and speculation that he dissed Jenner's ex Devin Booker on a new song adding fuel to the fire.
