‘Bad Sisters’ Season 2 Trailer: Garvey Girls Try to Keep Season One’s Deadly Intentions Under Wraps
After the deadly acts of season one, Apple TV+’s Bad Sisters returns for its second season as the central siblings face increasing suspicion and fear about what they did.
In the trailer released Tuesday, the women are first seen atop a cliff and opening the trunk of a car as showrunner and star Sharon Horgan’s Eva assures them that everything’s going to be OK. But then, in a microcosm of the concerns sprinkled throughout the second season preview, the women are startled by something they see inside the trunk.

The trailer jumps ahead to Grace (Anne-Marie Duff) getting remarried to a man named Ian (Owen McDonnell) as Eva again tries to offer reassurance, saying, “After everything that happened, things are finally looking up.”
But as Grace dances with Roger (Michael Smiley), who helped her kill her abusive husband J.P. (Claes Bang), he asks if she ever thinks about what they did before he’s shown in a meeting with the other sisters, where they tell him they were all involved, as they all plotted to kill J.P. and helped Grace cover up what she did.
Roger is also asked to speak about his “guilt” by season two’s curious newcomer Fiona Shaw.
Meanwhile, Grace is shown saying they found a dead body in a suitcase as the piece of luggage is shown being opened. And the sisters are surprised that Grace hasn’t heard from Ian in two days and Becka (Eve Hewson) reunites with Matt (Daryl McCormack), who reminds her that he “kept a big secret” for her.
As the fear and concern ratchets up, Bibi (Sarah Greene) is shown saying, “This is bad, bad, bad, bad.” And Eva says, “We’re not safe.”
After Bibi confesses to someone on the phone that she’s “starting to have thoughts I don’t want to have about my own sister,” the preview ends with the sisters being interrogated.
Bad Sisters’ eight-episode season two starts streaming on Apple TV+ on Nov. 13, with two episodes, followed by new episodes weekly through the finale on Dec. 25.
Here’s the logline from Apple: “Two years after the ‘accidental death’ of Grace’s abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on, but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust.”
The series also stars Eva Birthistle, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, Saise Quinn, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Peter Claffey, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon and Justine Mitchell.
Bad Sisters is executive produced by Horgan, Faye Dorn and Clelia Mountford for Merman Television. Dearbhla Walsh also executive produces and directs. Additional executive producers include Bert Hamelinck and Michael Sagol, along with Dave Finkel and Brett Baer, who adapted the first season with Horgan from the Belgian series Clan, which was created by Malin-Sarah Gozin, who also serves as executive producer. The series is produced by Merman and 20th Television Studios.
