Bagman Trailer – See Sam Claflin in First Look at New Horror Film
A creepy new horror film called Bagman is slinking into theaters in September, and Lionsgate has released the first trailer, complete with a spine-chilling sound design that'll make you want to switch it off.
Written by John Hulme, Bagman follows Sam Claflin as Patrick McKee, a father who remains troubled by a haunting story from his childhood.
The official synopsis from Lionsgate reads:
In the dark horror film BAGMAN, a family finds themselves ensnared in a nightmare as they are hunted by a malevolent, mythical creature. For centuries and across cultures, parents have warned their children of the legendary Bagman, who snatches innocent children and stuffs them into his vile, rotting bag—never to be seen again. Patrick McKee (Sam Claflin) narrowly escaped such an encounter as a boy, which left him with lasting scars throughout his adulthood. Now, Patrick's childhood tormentor has returned, threatening the safety of his wife Karina (Antonia Thomas) and son Jake (Caréll Rhoden).
Joining Claflin in the cast are Antonia Thomas, Sharon D Clarke, Steven Cree, William Hope, Adelle Leonce, Peter McDonald, Henry Pettigrew, Caréll Rhoden, Frankie Corio, and Will Davis.
The first trailer introduces us to Claflin as Patrick, and takes us on a chilling journey of one father's fight to overcome his childhood fears.
Bagman hits theaters on September 20.
