Bankroll Freddie is headed to jail for twelve and a half years.

The 30-year-old rapper, whose real name is Freddie Gladney III, has been sentenced after a conviction for multiple charges that stem from firearms and drug trafficking following a federal drug and gun bust in 2022.

In a Friday press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Arkansas , United States Attorney Jonathan D. Ross announced the sentence, which was handed down by United States District Judge James M. Moody, Jr. As part of his conviction, Freddie was also ordered to pay a money judgment of $242,000.

Gladney was indicted by a federal grand jury on May 3, 2023, in a superseding indictment consisting of 32 counts, charging him with multiple offenses linked to a conspiracy investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

During a four-day trial in April, Freddie was found guilty of multiple charges that came from a FBI bust that led to nearly 50 arrests. Some of the charges that he was convicted for were marijuana possession and distribution, firearm possession in furtherance of drug trafficking, possession and distribution of a controlled substance, and using a “communications facility” for drug trafficking crimes.

The operation was centered around the Every Body Killas (EBK) and Loady Murder Mobb gangs. Freddie was arrested with 34 EBK members. Authorities reportedly discovered later the gang’s operations were funded by large scale marijuana sales.

The last few years have been challenging for Freddie. In 2021, he was the victim of a shooting that left a nasty mark under his chin.

After reports surfaced of the shooting, Freddie posted a picture of himself and his wound with the caption, “I’m good.”
