In case you haven’t had the chance to watch Saltburn just yet, you’ve probably already been spoiled on the final scene of the movie. In it, the star of the movie, played by Irish actor Barry Keoghan, dances around a mansion completely nude to the tune of “Murder of the Dancefloor” by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The whole moment is iconic, to say the least.

And while the whole movie sent the internet into a frenzy, Keoghan’s freeness in being totally naked left viewers both shocked and in awe. And now, a few months since the movie’s release, Keoghan is reminding us once again of his signature move.

On Feb. 21, Vanity Fair revealed the A-list stars in their 2024 Hollywood Issue. Among the stars looking incredible on the cover are Bradley Cooper, Natalie Portman, Pedro Pascal, Colman Domingo, Jodie Comer, Lily Gladstone, Greta Lee, Charles Melton, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Jenna Ortega and, of course, Keoghan.

While Keoghan looks dapper in a classic suit and tie on the official cover, he’s significantly less clothed in a teaser video. In one video from the outlet (see it HERE!) a totally nude Keoghan makes a surprise appearance as he ends the star-studded lineup.

“WHY DID YA’LL DO BARRY LIKE THAT???! (i’m not mad about it)??” wrote one follower on Instagram. “Barry said let’s break the internet,” wrote another.

Talking about the scene in his interview, Keoghan admitted that the nude scene was one of the few moments he related with his character, Oliver. “I do dance around naked though, in my house,” Keoghan told the outlet. “Everyone does, man.”

“We all sing in the shower. We all act silly when we’re alone and we feel this freedom. It’s one thing that I did relate to,” he continued. “Not dancing around a manor of that sort with that f— drip hanging about—but I sing out loud, I dance silly and move my body silly.”

While the scene may have been enjoyable and freeing to film, it seems like having the movie out for everyone to see has been a mixed bag for the actor. “It’s crazy,” he said of the public’s reaction and the attention given to his body. “It can be detrimental to the mind and your mental state if you read into it too much or you look at too much stuff being said. But I wouldn’t go there if I wasn’t prepared for that, or if I wasn’t open to receiving what people want to say.”

“I think it shows an act of maturity in your craft, and if it justifies the story and moves it forward, why not?” Keoghan said of the nudity. “You look at European cinema and they tend to have a lot of scenes that involve nudity, and it’s not a massive thing, really. But I think it’s true art. It really is. And it’s true vulnerability as well. You’re really kind of putting yourself out there in the most vulnerable state. It’s beautiful to look at. I’m not saying it’s because of my body, but it’s freeing to see that body move around in the way it does. It’s like a moving painting, almost.” How poetic!
