When David "El Presidente" Portnoy says a pizza shop offers a traditional, football Sunday-styled pizza, it's like being anointed king of all pies.

Such was the case when Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports and One Bite Pizza, stopped by Lucatelli's Pizzeria in Doylestown last week and subjected a slice to Portnoy's viral "One Bite" reviews.

So what else did Portnoy think of a slice from Lucatelli's?

"A couple people said this was the best pizza around, and we're about to find out; I like the guys, they e are super nice and super excited," Portnoy says in the video review, which Lucatelli's also posted on Instagram. "It does look really good and has a light feel to it, which I really like."

"It's a football pizza," Portnoy said. "It's like a good, very traditional high-end football pizza. It almost has like, a more New York-vibe than a Phlly-vibe pizza, if that makes sense. I give it a 7-8."

The pizza shop sold out on Sunday and is set to reopen Monday at 11 a.m.

'El Presidente' turns Barstool Sports, One Bite Pizza into viral trends

Portnoy founded Barstool Sports in 2004, after a stint at an IT firm. Portnoy originally intended for Barstool Sports to be a newspaper and cultivated the brash "El Presidente" character, who would write most of Barstool Sports' content at the time.

In its current iteration, Barstool Sports is a launching site for sports, trending culture and commentary.
