Batman replies: "I care Joker. About Gotham, about justice. And if it has to end at least I go out like this... being Batman." It’s a perfect way for Conroy to bow out of an incredible career.

The actor first played Batman and Bruce Wayne in Batman: The Animated Series, and went on to reprise the role to widespread acclaim in Rockysteady’s 2009 Batman: Arkham Asylum video game, as well as its two sequels. Conroy’s Batman also appeared posthumously in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

His final appearance in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 3 marks an emotional sendoff. The film is available to watch digitally now.

Meanwhile, The Batman Part 2 is delayed until 2026.
