“Baywatch” actor says he'd sneak into female costars' trailers and smell their dirty swimsuits as a teen
Jeremy Jackson played Hobie Buchannon.
Jeremy Jackson has some stories from the set of Baywatch, where he spent much of his time from the ages of 10 to 19, portraying Hobie Buchannon, the son of star David Hasselhoff's character Mitch Buchannon.
"If you're a kid — in life, right? — you just want to be cool, you want to hang out with the cool people, you want to be grown up way before you're grown up, and that's how Baywatch was for me," Jackson recounted in the new Hulu docuseries After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun, which debuted Wednesday. "There was all these hot chicks, and I would usually sneak in their trailers after they were done and grab their dirty bathing suits. Let's just say I've smelled every p---- on Baywatch."
Jackson's costars included women such as Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, and Brooke Burns. The teen was most interested in actress Nicole Eggert.
"Nicole was the big one, for sure," Jackson said. "We had a very intimate moment, her and I, that she never knew about."
Eggert, who is also interviewed in the docuseries, learned from producers what Jackson had said. She wasn't shocked, and she wasn't angry.
"I know Jeremy very well," Eggert said, before chuckling. "This surprises me not at all. There’s nothing Jeremy could say that would freak me out. And I'm not even mad at 14-year-old Jeremy. I mean, puberty on a show like that? I love grown-up Jeremy for being honest about 14-year-old Jeremy."
Jackson explained that going through adolescence on the series was "painful."
"I was too young to hook up with the chicks, but old enough to want to," he said.
The actor's mom, Jolana Jackson even weighed in on the awkward subject.

"There was a slew of bikini-clad girls, and even though he was 13, 14 years old, they were already trying to make eyes at him and do things," she said in the doc. "I really tried to keep him away from all of that the best I could."
For his part, Jackson said the women "would definitely tease me — like give me a little boobie shot or whatever. But I was too young to really hook up with any of them, and, you know, like I said, I just wanted to be grown up. I was like, 'Ugh, just hang in there!'"
