‘The Bear’ Season 2 Guest Stars Just Brought Home Some Major Emmy Wins

The Bear season 2 is finally here and it has fans yelling our "Yes, Chef!" for a variety of reasons. Between the big renovation of the former deli to the amazing character growth in this group of food-loving misfits, there are so many things to love and be excited about in the show's stellar second season. But one thing that fans still can't get over is the giant list of guest stars. Right from the beginning, it felt like all of Hollywood decided to make its way to Chicago and have some fun. And yes, we absolutely mean stars! There are Oscar winners, some of our favorite comedians, and even some iconic chefs who have decided to face the kitchen and bring some of their own magic on screen. Our only hope is that they come back for more!
Here are all the big guest stars and celebrity cameos in The Bear season 2.
Robert Townsend as Emmanuel
Stand-up comedian, director, and actor Robert Townsend played a big part in the show's second season as we learned more about Sydney and her father.
Molly Gordon as Claire
Molly has been booked and busy lately with her very own film, Theater Camp, on the way. But she still had some time to stop by Chicago to film several episodes of The Bear as Carmy's renewed love interest and trust us when we say, the chemistry was there!
Michael Salzinski
One of the best parts about The Bear's second season is how many chefs actually appear in the series like Michael Salzinski. Not only does he play the instructor in the culinary school that Tina and Ebra go to, but he was actually a real-life instructor at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago and now teaches at National Louis University's Kendall College in Chicago.
Will Poulter as Luca
Listen, we've already been thirsting over Will Poulter since his appearance as loveable himbo Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but now he's playing a hot tattooed pastry chef in the season's fourth episode which is definitely a change of pace for the actor.
Alex Moffatt as Josh
The SNL alum played a chef who gets hired by Sydney to join the team over at The Bear. However, in the show's second season finale, we find out that he actually smokes crack on the job and he is fired. No wonder he acted the way he did during the interview.
Mitra Jouhari as Kelly
The Big Mouth writer who you also loved to hate thanks to her appearance as Sahara in Abbott Elementary played Claire's heartbroken BFF in episode 5.
Jon Bernthal as Michael
The former Punisher and Walking Dead star made a big reappearance after his surprise cameos in the show's first season. As part of a flashback episode, we see Mikey and some of the other members of the Berzatto family hanging out for Christmas dinner, giving us another view of the long-lost brother.
Bob Odenkirk as Uncle Lee
Iconic good guy and Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk is just the first of many guest stars fans got to see in the season's standout sixth episode. He plays Uncle Lee, AKA the loud uncle who is not afraid to tell you to shut up and starts fights because he believes he's right.
Sarah Paulson as Cousin Michelle
Sarah decided to stay in the FX family after previously starring in Impeachment: American Crime Story. This time she is playing Michelle, the family's cool cousin who seems to have everything together and lives a successful life in NYC, away from the Ba
John Mulaney as Stevie
After the success of Baby J and a surprise appearance in BFF Pete Davidson's Bupkis, he got to join in on the fun as Cousin Michelle's partner who can't seem to fit in with the Berzatto family.
Gillian Jacobs as Tiffany
Not only did the season's sixth episode allow us to learn more about the Berzatto family overall, but we also got to meet Tiffany, Richie's ex-wife played by Community star Gillian Jacobs. Unlike her Community character, she didn't Britta this appearance.
Ricky Staffieri as Theodore Fak
There's more than one Fak in the Berzatto family Christmas party. The Second City alum makes an appearance as Neil's brother.
Jamie Lee Curtis as Diane
The 2023 Oscar Winner, scream queen, and overall icon reminded all of us why she took home the award for Best Supporting Actress with her spectacular acting skills as the Berzatto matriarch, Diane.
Andrew Lopez as Garrett
In the Richie-centric episode, Forks, Garrett is the first person that we meet that gives us an inside look behind Ever. Andrew has also appeared in Platonic and is a stand-up comedian.
Rene Gube as the GM of Ever
Rene Gube might be a familiar name if you're a true fan of The Bear. That's because he is a writer and producer on the show, so basically, you have him to thank for so many amazing episodes.
Adam Shapiro as Ever's Chef de Cuisine
Mr. Shapiro, what are you doing here?! And no, we're not talking about him IRL. We actually mean his character in Never Have I Ever as one of Devi's teachers.
Sarah Ramos as Jessica
Jessica is one of the badass front-of-house staff over at Ever and she's played by none other than Parenthood star Sarah Ramos.
Olivia Coleman as Chef Terry
In the ultimate, "Yes, Chef!", Olivia Coleman made a surprise appearance as the owner of Ever, the restaurant that Richie spends time in episode 7. She has a very long list of works on her resumé, but you definitely know her from The Crown.
Joel McHale as Carmy's Former Boss
Joel McHale might be known for playing funny characters like Jeff Winger in Community, but he took a darker turn as Carmy's former boss back in NYC and appears in a special flashback in the season's finale.
