'The Bear' Season 3 Drops More Surprising Star Cameos

If your heart rate is higher than normal, it could be because there's a new season of The Bear available to binge on Hulu. The critically acclaimed restaurant dramedy dropped all 10 episodes of its third season on Wednesday, June 26, and just like last season, it was full of fun guest stars as members of the Berzatto family and people in the restaurant's immediate orbit.

Parade has already watched all 10 episodes and has the scoop on all of the guest stars you can expect to see or might have missed in the Season 3 drop. Here's everyone that popped in for Season 3.

New Guest Stars on The Bear Season 3

Josh Hartnett as Frank

Josh Hartnett continues his career renaissance with a hilarious cameo in Episode 4, "Violet." He plays Frank, the fiancé of Richie's (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) ex-wife. He apologizes to Richie for not talking to him before proposing in an effort for the two to be on better terms, but Richie still finds it difficult not to hate the guy.

John Cena as Sammy Fak

There's a third Fak brother! The season's biggest surprise was John Cena showing up in Episode 5, "Children," to play Sammy Fak, the third Fak brother. He was there to buff the floors of the restaurant before the Chicago Tribune took photos for their food review. He was also there to settle a score with his little brother Ted (Ricki Staffieri) for taking some SD cards from him without permission. You'll never look at the word "haunted" the same way again after this episode.

David Zayas as David Merrero

It wouldn't be a season of The Bear without getting a little bit meta. Dexter alum David Zayas dropped by the premiere and Episode 6, "Napkins," to play Tina's (Liza Colon-Zayas) husband, David. If Liza's last name did not give it away, she and David are also married in real life.

Returning Guest Stars in The Bear Season 3

Jon Bernthal as Michael Berzatto

Jon Bernthal returned as Carmy's (Jeremy Allen White) older brother in flashbacks and in Episode 6, "Napkins," which revealed how Tina (Liza Colon-Zayas) came to work at The Beef. The two had a heartwarming conversation about maintaining passion later in life and Michael was so impressed with Tina that he offered her a job as a line cook on the spot.

Jamie Lee Curtis as Donna Berzatto

Jamie Lee Curtis was also in flashbacks in early episodes of the season, but then returned for Episode 8, "Ice Chips," to be there for Natalie/Sugar (Abby Elliott) when she gave birth because no one at the restaurant (or Pete or Claire) would pick up their phone. The mother and daughter got to talk about Donna's explosive personality and how Natalie wanted to shield her baby from that kind of energy.

John Mulaney as Stevie

John Mulaney appears briefly in The Bear Season 3 premiere, "Tomorrow," as Stevie, Carmy's cousin by marriage who lets Carmy sleep on his couch during his early chef days in New York. As Carmy struggles to keep up with his demanding boss, Stevie covers him with a blanket after the young chef crashes after a night of work multiple times in a premiere montage.

Gillian Jacobs as Tiffany Jerimovich

Gillian Jacobs returns in Episode 9, "Apologies" as Richie's ex Tiffany to badger him into RSVPing yes to her upcoming wedding to Frank. After some pushing, Richie hesitantly promises to fill out the invitation once the pair have finished playing with their daughter in the park.

Will Poulter as Chef Luca

Will Poulter makes a triumphant return in The Bear Season 3 after his beloved appearance in Season 2. He's first seen in the premiere as Carmy reminisces about his path to opening The Bear and returns in the finale, "Forever," to say goodbye to Ever, the restaurant where he and Carmy first met.

Olivia Colman as Chef Andrea Terri

Olivia Colman also returns in Carmy's trip down memory lane in the premiere episode and then again in the season finale as her coworkers and friends reunite to help her say goodbye to Ever. She also gives Carmy some very important advice before they leave the restaurant for the final time.

Joel McHale as Chef David Fields

The source of Carmy's anxiety and kitchen nightmares returns for another round. We get an even greater sense of his cruelty during the premiere montage of Carmy's cooking past, and he returns in the finale for the Ever funeral. Carmy finally gets the chance to confront the man who triggered his ongoing panic attacks but doesn't really get closure because David isn't sorry for any of the abuse he hurled at Carmy. Instead, he thinks Carmy should be grateful that David turned him into a great chef. That is definitely going to take some therapy to unpack.

Adam Shapiro as himself

Adam Shapiro returns as well because he's still the second-in-command at Ever. He first appears in Episode 4, "Violet," to approach Syd (Ayo Edebri) about coming to work for him at his own restaurant, though. He returns multiple times throughout the season to tell Syd more about the opportunity, leaving her to decide if she wants to continue on at The Bear or have a chance to run a kitchen the way she wants to run it.

Sarah Ramos as Jessica

The majority of The Bear's Season 3 finale takes place at Ever, which means the entire crew from last season's "Forks" episode returns. That includes Sarah Ramos as Jessica, who taught Richie the ropes of staging at a fine dining establishment.

Andrew Lopez as Garrett

Garrett is another member of the Ever crew that helped Richie find his calling within the fine dining world. He returns in the season finale to help say goodbye to the restaurant.

Rene Gube as the Ever General Manager

You can't say goodbye to Ever without the general manager. He's also there to welcome Richie to the funeral dinner and reminisce about their time together in Season 2.

Chef Guest Stars in Season 3 of The Bear 

The Bear Season 3 finale was a love letter to food and the restaurant industry and series creator Christopher Storer called in a lot of his famous chef friends to help send his praises to the industry. The chefs sitting around the tables at Ever telling their kitchen horror stories and reminiscing about their favorite restaurants were playing themselves.

The famous foodies include Thomas Keller, who is also the loose inspiration for Joel McHale's character (though no one says he's as mean), Daniel Boulud, Rosie Sanchez, Paul "Uncle Paulie" James, Grant Achatz, Kevin Boehm, Wylie Dufresne, Nobu Matsuhisa,Will Guidara, Genie Kwon, Malcolm Livingston II, Anna Posey and Milk Bar founder Christina Tosi.
