The Bear Season 4 Ordered, Filming Details Revealed
The Bear hasn’t even premiered its third season yet. But a fourth one is on the horizon, as Deadline reports that FX has renewed the show for a Season 4.
The Bear Season 4 will be filmed back-to-back with Season 3 in Chicago, although it’s unknown if this is a sign that the series will end after Season 4, like FX’s Atlanta did after filming back-to-back seasons.
However, Deadline notes that another explanation for the filming schedule is due to just how popular stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach have become. The Bear Season 3 is scheduled to release on Hulu sometime in June 2024.
Who’s involved in The Bear?
The Bear is executive produced by Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Hiro Murai, Nate Matteson, and Josh Senior. The comedy drama stars White, Edebiri, Moss-Bachrach, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edwin Lee Gibson, and Matty Matheson. Season 2 also introduced new characters portrayed by an all-star guest lineup including Jamie Lee Curtis, Sarah Paulson, Will Poulter, Olivia Colman, John Mulaney, Molly Gordon, and Bob Odenkirk.
“Last season followed Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto, Sydney Adamu and Richard ‘Richie’ Jerimovich as they work to transform their grimy sandwich joint into a next-level spot,” reads the logline. “As they strip the restaurant down to its bones, the crew undertakes transformational journeys of their own, each forced to confront the past and reckon with who they want to be in the future.”
