‘Beauty and the Beast’ Star Sings Auto-Tuned Disney Hits on ‘Tonight Show’
Josh Gad, who stars in Disney‘s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast and who was also the voice of Olaf in Disney’s Frozen, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to play “Box of Microphones: Disney Edition.”
In “Box of Microphones: Disney Edition,” Gad and Fallon were presented with a variety of multicolored microphones to choose from, each offering different types of tunings to affect their normally lovely voices. When Josh busted out Frozen‘s “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” he did so in a high-pitched chipmunk style reminiscent of Alvin and the Chipmunks, or perhaps a dying squirrel. When Fallon was challenged with “Circle of Life,” his voice reached depths no human voice should be allowed to reach.
And after they had both taken iconic songs and made them almost unidentifiable, they joined forces for one last hurrah with “Beauty and the Beast.”
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Tonight Show for free on Yahoo View.
