Becky Lynch Isn’t Sure What Her Future Looks Like After Her Full-Time In-Ring Career Ends
Becky Lynch isn’t completely certain of what the future holds for her.
Becky Lynch firmly plans to end her full-time wrestling career in WWE. Her professional plans beyond that though, are up in the air.
In a recent interview with the Getting Over Wrestling Podcast, Lynch discussed her potential moves after her full-time wrestling career completed its course. For some performers, their careers come to a full stop. In other cases, such as with John Cena, their tenures continue with sporadic appearances or short runs in between outside projects. Looking toward her future, Becky Lynch admittedly has no clue what route she will venture down.
“I don’t know the answer to these questions, I genuinely don’t. I’m being so vague, and I don’t mean to be in any way cagey, but I feel like I have a great mind for wrestling and a great love for it. And so, it’s always going to be there in my heart and in my head. It’s part of my family. It’s the reason I have my family, so it’s so important to me. I just don’t know what that looks like in the future,” Lynch said.
“I genuinely don’t have any answers for you because I don’t know. Life continues to surprise me in wonderful ways recently. You can make all of these plans, and sometimes they don’t go the way that that that you intended. But in the long run, something works out and something becomes better than you would’ve expected. And I feel like that’s been my whole run.”
While her long-term plans are uncertain as of now, Lynch’s short-term goal is quite clear. In less than two weeks, “The Man” will face off with WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley with the aim of claiming the title on WWE’s grandest stage — WrestleMania.
