Bella Hadid hit “The Apprentice” red carpet at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on Monday in a fashionable pair of pointed peep-toe ankle strap heels.
As for Hadid, the strappy shoes were in-line with what she chooses for notable events and outings.
On Sunday, the model arrived in Cannes wearing a pair of vintage pink suede kitten heels while walking outside Le Majestic Hotel from Prada. A piece from one of the brand’s early 2000 collections, the shoes featured a scalloped design, a pointed toe and a heel of about 2 to 2.5-inches.
Earlier this month, Hadid was spotted outside of her NYC apartment wearing platform Horsebit loafers from Gucci‘s spring 2024 collection. The platforms featured a lightweight 3.5-inch back platform and 2.5-inch front platform, along with the brand’s classic silver-toned horsebit hardware detail. She also wore a pair of black leather peep-toe platform sandals during London Fashion Week.
The Cannes Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Cannes, France, which previews new films of all genres, including documentaries, from all around the world. The yearly event brings out many A-list celebrities to its premieres, including “The Apprentice,” which is a biographical drama film examining Donald Trump’s career as a real estate businessman in New York in the 1970s and 80s.
About the shoes
Hadid attended “The Apprentice” premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in a sharp pair of pointed peep-toe ankle strap heels. Boasting a mahogany shade and crafted in patent leather material, the shoes were characterized by a shiny upper, a thin brown strap that criss-crossed around her ankle and a stiletto heel that clocked in at roughly 4-inches. The shoes completed her monochromatic look.
About pointed-toe shoes
While the style has experienced some updates over the decades, pointed-toe pumps are a classic model that blends together elements of vintage and modern-day fashion. The silhouette is often praised for its versatility and ease of styling. Regarded as a preferred shoe for red carpets and formal occasions, the popularity of the slim stiletto heel started re-emerging again at the start of the 2020s. Many brands such as Stuart Weitzman, Chanel and Gucci offer a wide range of pointed-pumps throughout the season.
