Bella Thorne announces Mod Sun breakup: 'I will always love you'
Actress Bella Thorne and musician Mod Sun have ended their relationship, she announced Monday on Instagram.
The post shows the 21-year-old looking over her shoulder at her boyfriend since 2017, with the caption, “I will always love you. All good things must come to an end.” She used a broken heart emoji at the end of her message.
Thorne and Sun (real name: Derek Smith) caught a show together at Coachella over the weekend. But on Monday, the same day Thorne posted about the split on social media, Sun told DailyMail.com that he “made the decision” to call off their relationship. He dismissed a report from the British outlet that said the two argued in front of people after a Friday set by the 1975.
In February, Thorne confirmed speculation that she had split with YouTube star Tana Mongeau. Until that breakup, she had been openly dating both Mongeau and Sun.
When he was asked if he and Thorne might get back together, Sun said, “You can’t tell the future.”
Fans were heartbroken to hear about the breakup.
“Oh Bella. my heart bleeds for you,” wrote @kelseyniamh_. “Sometimes i wish there wasn’t always an end to good things, however the world works in mysterious ways. I Love you.”
“We meet people and we always learn something about them,” @zaydara wrote. “You got a new experience and you learnt a lot.”
“I seriously thought you guys were going to be together forever,” @valeriaramons added.
Of course, there were also offers to be Thorne’s next love.
