Bella Thorne Favors Dramatic Glamour at Cannes in Structured Corset and Sinuous Accessories for Chopard’s 2024 Party

Bella Thorne joined Bella Hadid, Eva Green and several more high-profile guests for the Chopard “Once Upon a Time” evening at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Tuesday. The actress and singer wore a striking look for the event, which featured contrasting fabrics, a pop of color and strappy heels.

For the occasion, Thorne wore a structured, strapless gown in a muted, dark tone with a reflective corset top and draped fabric on the skirt courtesy of the fashion brand Krikor Jabotian. The skirt of Thorne’s gown featured a high slit and gathered fabric around the drop waist cut of the gown. As for the corset top, the material created the illusion of gathered, layered fabric, along with an element that reflected the lights of flashing cameras.

While her dramatic gown was undoubtedly the centerpiece of her ensemble, Thorne added pieces and accessorized her look with Chopard. Thorne fashioned sinuous René Caovilla Cleopatra Chocolate Satin Sandals with straps that climbed the leg. She accessorized with a pair of green statement earrings in varying shades and a stained-glass design for an added pop of contrasting color.

Thorne’s hair was tossed into a bun with pieces of her dark brown tresses framing her face. For her makeup, Thorne continued her dark chocolate color palette, with smokey eyes and a defined lip color. Along with her statement green earrings, Thorne also wore a few dainty rings and bracelets.

The 77th annual Cannes Film Festival occurs from May 14 to 25. “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig serves as the jury president for this year’s festival, held in the South of France. Several high-profile premieres, including Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis” and “Furiosa” starring Anya Taylor-Joy, are expected to take place, while Meryl Streep will receive an honorary Palme d’Or.
