Ben Affleck Allegedly Has One Surprising Rule to Get ‘Back on Dating Scene' After Jennifer Lopez Divorce

Okay, so, things are absolutely wild when it comes to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s divorce. We’re just going to be blunt here. Everything we thought we knew about the couple has been turned upside down. Apparently, Affleck did have a part in the controversial documentary, despite many thinking it was all Lopez. And now, it seems Affleck is quite the gym buff, despite insiders claiming it was Lopez who was all about the gym.

Insiders alleged via US Express that not only is Affleck ready to get back into the dating game, but he’s going to the gym a lot to help himself confidently reenter.

An insider said to the outlet that Ben has been “wanting to really buff up and get into the best possible shape,” and even hired a personal trainer.

“Ben’s always had this Achilles heel when it comes to his workouts. He keeps up with his cardio and lifts weights at home to keep his upper body tight, mainly because he’s so afraid of letting his pecs turn saggy and developing man boobs,” the insider said. “So, the trainer’s coming in, the junk’s being phased out, as are the cigarettes, and fixing his rear end is physical priority number one!”

Now, this really is a total 180 from just a few weeks ago. He was seen numerous times ordering take-out from fast food joints, which was something Lopez allegedly wasn’t a fan of.

Along with that, there were allegations about the rules in their marriage, one of which being that every time Lopez went to the gym, Affleck had to join her for the entire time, per TheThings, leading many to believe Affleck wasn’t a fan of this lifestyle. However, this turn of events may show otherwise.

For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They started dating soon after and got engaged by the end of 2002.

In 2003, they postponed their wedding and then broke up days before, due to the paparazzi and pressure they faced, and were broken up by 2004.

Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony. Then, after months of speculation, per TMZ, Lopez filed for divorce on Aug. 20, noting the date of separation is April 26, 2024.
