Ben Affleck’s Close Friendship With Jennifer Garner May Have Raised Eyebrows in J.Lo’s Inner Circle
Is Ben Affleck in a love triangle amid his divorce from Jennifer Lopez? Well, that’s reportedly what some of J.Lo’s friends seem to think as the duo navigate their split — despite their possible PDA reunion at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday, Sept. 14. Who would be the third person in the equation? Lopez’s inner circle seems to think it’s Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
When Lopez hightailed it to the Hamptons for the summer, she was bombarded with paparazzi images of her husband with Garner. While none of the photos seemed incriminating to fans, it might have been uncomfortable for the “Jenny From the Block” singer seeing them together a lot. “Seeing the photos of them looking more like a couple than a pair of exes was the final straw for J. Lo, it was the push she needed to finally file for divorce,” an In Touch Weekly source claimed.

Their separation was designed to give them the space to figure out what they wanted in life, but Affleck reportedly “put in zero effort to fix things.” Instead, he only seemed interested in spending time with Jen [Garner] and his kids.” The insider added, “It was horrible for J. Lo because she’s now left wondering if she was some sort of pawn that he used to try and win Jen back.” Now, let’s not forget that Garner is in a long-term relationship with entrepreneur John Miller, but he reportedly felt awkward about his girlfriend’s dynamic with Affleck.
Miller didn’t love Garner spending so much time with her ex-husband, a source told the Daily Mail in August. “John doesn’t like sharing Jen and there is a divide when it comes to her and Ben,” they noted even though he didn’t have “any fears that they are getting back together.” Lopez, however, doesn’t feel the same way as Miller. “The way they are looking at each other is proof in J. Lo’s eyes that there’s a lot more than just co-parenting going on, she’s now predicting they’re going to get back together,” the In Touch Weekly source said.
Before anyone assumes Garner and Affleck are a thing, a Page Six source swore that there was a lot of PDA between the 52-year-old actor and Lopez. “Ben and JLo are currently at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel holding hands and kissing. The kids are with them, but at a separate table,” they noted. This love saga may have another chapter yet to be written, and fans have no idea how this rumored love triangle might shake out.
