Ben Affleck Rants Against Toxic NFL Fans, Bill Belichick in Tom Brady Roast

Tom Brady found himself in the hot seat on May 5 at Netflix's The Roast of Tom Brady. Athletes, comedians, and Hollywood stars came together to tell jokes about the legendary New England Patriots quarterback while also taking pot shots at other people. Among them was Brady's Dunkin' Super Bowl commercial castmate Ben Affleck.

Affleck started his time at the podium by recounting what it was like filming the Dunkin' spot together. It soon turned into a rant against negative NFL fans—and much more.

"Tom asked me to look at his social media accounts for him. I guess for some reason, he gets a lot of online criticism. But I took a look at it, and I gotta say, I didn't even last two f--king hours. It was the most toxic thing I have ever experienced."

"Meanwhile, Tom and all these guys up here, you always hear them say, 'It's all about the fans. We do it for the fans.' Well, let me let you in on a little secret: Tom could do it without you," Affleck added. "You're talking s--t behind your AOL account in suburban Buffalo... He has seven rings. You took seven years to get your GED. This is the NFL! You'd be in the f--king hospital if you stepped on the field for one play!"

"You sit there, f--king hiding behind your keyboard, spewing out all this f--king toxic s--t about people you'd be afraid to come up to if you saw them at the car wash," Affleck continued. "You guys out there talking s--t, all right behind your f--king keyboard, that doesn't make you a fan. That makes you a b---h."

Affleck also took some time to roast not Brady, but his longtime coach Bill Belichick. Namely, he came after Belichick's stoicexterior. "The look on your face that everybody works for you. I've got season tickets! You work for me, motherf--ker!" Affleck said.

"What does [Brady] have to do to make Bill Belichick happy? How do we see some teeth? Like, you got to cure cancer?" he asked. "They're watching the Super Bowl, Tom throws a touchdown pass win again, and Bill's looking at him like, no, like, f--king Tom s--t in his cereal or something."

Affleck's rant lasted several minutes, and at one point, he acknowledged that it probably wasn't the best look for him. "I don't think I'll ever get this chance again," he said. "I'm probably never going to work again, actually, after tonight."

The Roast of Tom Brady is streaming now on Netflix.
