Ben Affleck Steps Out With Son Samuel & There’s No Denying That Kid’s Interest
Ben Affleck and his son Samuel were spotted walking in Los Angeles yesterday. And while rumors continue to circulate over whether Affleck himself has made any significant life changes (has the DunKing had any plastic surgery?!), it’s clear that Sam hasn’t made any changes when it comes to his interests.
During the father-son outing, the 12-year-old was wearing a Junior Lakers jersey and carrying a basketball, proving that his [seemingly] favorite pastime has remained the same. That kid loves basketball! Affleck and his son — who he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner along with daughters Seraphina and Violet — have often been spotted playing basketball together or at basketball events.

Just last year, the two took to the court at the Ruffles Celebrity Game during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Utah (see below) where Samuel was photographed with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.
And don’t worry, Garner also gets in on the NBA fun. Last March, she went on a little mother-son date with Samuel to a Los Angeles Lakers game and the photos were too cute. The actress seemed to be having the best time with her son, wrapping her arm around him, clapping along with him, and taking a selfie of them smiling together. Of course, Samuel was outfitted in a Steph Curry jersey.
But it’s not just about the pros for Samuel and his family. Last fall, Garner and Affleck — who is step-dad to wife Jennifer Lopez’s twins Emme and Max, who she shares with ex Marc Anthony — were spotted at one of Samuel’s basketball games in Santa Monica. They were photographed chatting and laughing while waiting for their son. It’s this amicable attitude and the fact that they both show up for their kids’ extracurricular events that makes fans confident that the former couple is killing the co-parenting game. Just like Samuel is killing it on the court!
