Ben Affleck Went Through Another Youthful Hair Transformation Amid His Divorce From Jennifer Lopez
Okay, so remember back in Aug 2024 when Ben Affleck did a pretty drastic hair transformation amid rumors he and Jennifer Lopez were divorcing? How he sported a shaved faux-hawk hairstyle? Well, now, along with that, new photos show he changed another part of his hair: his beard.
In photos obtained by People, we can see that, despite rocking the salt and pepper beard for quite some time, he’s completely ditched it. In the photos, we can see he’s dyed his beard dark brown, yet again making fans do a double take.

Now, the sudden change could be because of the Lopez divorce, but it also could be for a role. While we aren’t 100 percent sure, we do know this: it’s his second dramatic hair transformation in two months, and both have been to hide gray hairs or to show a more youthful type of appearance.
Per his IMDb, he does have three acting roles in projects that haven’t been released yet (RIP, Witness for the Prosecution, and The Accountant 2), so this hair transformation could definitely be for a role, but yet again, fans are questioning the timing of it all.
For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They started dating soon after and got engaged by the end of 2002. However, they were broken up by 2004 after cancelling their wedding days prior to it. Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony. However, they then filed for divorce in 2024.
