Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s Daughter Ella Quotes the Perfect Taylor Swift Lyric After Graduating from Juilliard
The grad put a twist on Swift’s “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” — jokingly naming Juilliard as the “asylum” in the song
Ella Stiller is a certified Swiftie.
The 22-year-old daughter of acting couple Ben Stiller, 58, and Christine Taylor, 52, graduated from The Juilliard School in New York City on Friday, May 24 and celebrated the milestone over the weekend.
In a Taylor Swift-infused Instagram caption, the grad quoted the 14-time Grammy winner’s “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” — but she put a twist on it by jokingly naming Juilliard as the “asylum” in the lyrics.
“YOU WOULDN’T LAST AN HOUR IN THE ASYLUM (@juilliardschool) WHERE THEY RAISED ME,” Ella wrote, referencing track 10 on Swift’s 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD).
The Swift lyrics have been used similarly by other Swifties on social media, ever since “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” was released on April 19, to jokingly name their hometowns, schools or employers as the “asylum.”
The singer added the song and six other tracks from TTPD to her Eras Tour setlist on May 9 when she resumed the tour, at which time she coined “Female Rage: The Musical” to describe the TTPD era of the show.
Aside from quoting Swift, Ella said she’s proud to have “survived” Juilliard.
“(No, like, really) Yesterday I got my BFA in Acting from Juilliard,” Ella continued. “I couldn’t be happier to be done or prouder to have survived or more grateful to my family for the unwavering support that got me there and through. I have a degree in playing pretend!!! Yay!!!”
Ella’s carousel of photos feature her showing off her degree while wearing her cap and gown and laughing with her dad in the streets of N.Y.C.
