Bethenny Frankel Dishes on Her New SiriusXM Show: ‘I Have a Face for Radio’
Bethenny Frankel is heading to radio. The 45-year-old reality star sat down with The Insider With Yahoo and dished about her new radio show, B Real With Bethenny, on Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM channel.
“I am pretty unfiltered,” Frankel said — unsurprisingly, as anybody who’s watched a minute of Real Housewives of New York City knows. “I feel like I need another vehicle to express myself. I am a person that likes to vent and rant and express, and I’m vocal, I’m opinionated, and I’m truthful, and I just feel like I have a face for radio and a mouth for Sirius.”
Bethenny, whose show debuts May 2, is looking forward to the new venture but not taking herself too seriously.
“I’m just thinking of it as something I enjoy, the way that people would want to cook or garden. I think in life, in business, you should do what you love. If you love it, you will be good at it,” she explained. “I know that coming in one day a week and just kind of ranting or talking and chatting and emoting or commenting, I think it will be a different side of me.”
While she’s branching out to radio, Bethenny won’t be quitting her day job of stirring up trouble on RHONYC, and she admits tonight’s episode won’t be pretty.
Check out the video to hear what she has to say about it, and tune in to The Insider With Yahoo on TV tonight for the latest in entertainment news.
