‘Better Late Than Never’ First Look: Terry and the Thai Ladyboy
Four living legends — Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman — and their bagman, comedian Jeff Dye, were sent to experience everything Asia has to offer and prove that it’s never too late to try new things. To that end, this exclusive clip of a scene from next week’s finale of Better Late Than Never gives new meaning to the quarterback sneak when the NFL Hall of Famer Bradshaw meets the blond bomb-her in Thailand.
The country-crossing trip’s last stop lands the sojourning seniors in Phuket on Bradshaw’s 67th birthday, and they’ve gone out to celebrate. Dye announces that he has a special surprise gift for his new pal, and in comes a pretty-in-pink performer, one of Thailand’s traditional drag entertainers, with a giant lollipop. Watching the performer lip-sync an old-timey song and dance through the crowd, Bradshaw is immediately amused and confused.
Yes, yes, it is.

Eventually, she makes it over to Bradshaw’s side of the table and plants a few on his cheeks — and turns her head just in time to trick the Super Bowl MVP into locking lips. Fortunately, the conservative Louisiana good ol’ boy rolls with the punches and declares, “Tonight, America, on my 67th birthday I ended up kissing a guy… and I liked it. Who cares? I am still smiling.”
Guess you can teach an old dog new trick plays.
The season finale of Better Late Than Never airs Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
