Last weekend at 90s Con Florida, several members of the Beverly Hills, 90210 cast reunited publicly for the first time since the death of Shannen Doherty in July.
Garth, Ziering, Green and Carteris were all in attendance for a panel and reflected on the loss of their beloved costar, who died after a years-long battle with cancer at age 53 over the summer.
"She’s to me an amazing example for everyone of [how] she put her own challenges and her own health things aside and really wanted to share with everyone the experience of all of it, and it was incredibly brave," Green, 51, said during the panel. "Going through something as difficult as that and being open to being completely transparent and sharing with everyone is brave."
Carteris, 63, shared that she has another friend who is "really sick with cancer," and revealed that Doherty has "really inspired her."
"I think that her legacy is truly making a difference for those who are struggling to know that there’s hope."
The cast of Charmed also honored the late actress on Sept. 14, as they recorded a live episode of their reunion podcast, House of Halliwell, and were joined by Green.
Rose McGowan remembered her as a "powerhouse," as she said, "Seeing how she navigated — and how I've had to navigate — when people smear your reputation and create this box you can't f---ing get out of and it's not at all who you are. I can't prove it to people. What Shannen did for me, which was so incredible to watch, she kept engaging with people, she kept going forward."
Dorian Gregory said he has "no words for" Doherty's "beauty and vibrancy," as he told fans, "She leaves us with this: cherish every second of everyone you're surrounded by and you love. That's such a gift."
Weekend and day passes for 90s Con CT are now available to purchase through its official website.
