Beyoncé Debuts Whiskey Brand SirDavis in Custom Crochet Minidress by Les Fleurs
Beyoncé took to Instagram on Tuesday to promote her new whiskey brand, SirDavis. The “Cowboy Carter” artist selected a custom crochet dress and matching cap by Les Fleurs, an upcycling label founded by stylist Maria Bernard.
Accessorizing with Brother Vellies heels, the singer was dressed by stylist Shiona Turini, who also curated her wardrobe for last year’s “Renaissance” tour.

“Davis in my bones,” Beyoncé captioned her latest Instagram post. SirDavis is manufactured in collaboration with the beverage conglomerate Mo?t Hennessy.
Retailing for $89, the brand is named for Beyoncé’s paternal great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, a farmer and moonshiner in the American South during Prohibition. He was known to stash whiskey bottles in the empty knots of cedar trees for friends and family to find and enjoy, according to a SirDavis press release.
“I’ve always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whiskey and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whiskey was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy. In partnering with Mo?t Hennessy, we have crafted a delicious American whiskey that respects tradition but also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category. You can taste it better than I could ever tell you — welcome, SirDavis.”
Beyoncé is a known purveyor of Japanese whisky. She and her husband traveled to the country in April, where they attended a Yamazaki tasting.
