‘Big Brother’ Recap: The Major Twist None of the Houseguests Saw Coming
On Wednesday’s episode of Big Brother, Cody was feeling the heat after putting Alex on the block for eviction following Megan’s exit. Although it was what everyone on his side of the house wanted, Cody was regretting his decision because he felt that, as one of the strongest competitors in the house, Alex actually deserved to be there.
So, when it came to the POV (Power of Veto) competition, Cody threw the game to let Alex win, knowing that she would use the POV to take herself off the block. Opening up a space on the block meant that Cody could then nominate who he really wanted to send home: “Your Boy” Paul.
Unfortunately for Cody, he and the rest of the houseguests didn’t know that Paul was America’s choice in the “Den of Temptation” earlier in the week, which offered him safety from eviction for three weeks.
At the veto meeting, Cody attempted to nominate Paul, thus revealing to everyone that Paul had accepted the temptation. Forced to fill the space with another houseguest, Cody nominated Christmas, which completely shocked the house. Will this cause a divide in Big Brother 19’s strongest alliance yet? We’ll have to wait until the live eviction to find out!
Big Brother airs Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS. Live eviction airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
