Big Lick Comic Con brings special guests, comic books, and fun to Roanoke
ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– Comic book fans get ready! The Big Lick Comic Con is returning to the Berglund Center in Roanoke, bringing some of your favorite comic creators and characters over the weekend of Aug. 3.
Big Lick Comic Con is a special event owned and operated by Big Lick Entertainment. The event has hosted this event in Roanoke since 2017, hosting a winter comic con in Feb. and one during the summer in Aug.
This year, the Big Lick is Comic Con is bringing a variety of special guests. This includes:
Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad)
Ross Marquand (The Walking Dead, The Marvel Cinematic Universe, Invincible)
Nakia Burrise (Yellow Power Ranger from Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo)
Catherine Sutherland (Pink Power Ranger from Power Rangers television series, Power Rangers Turbo)
Cal Dodd (X-Man: The Animated Series, X-Men 97)
Virginia Natural History Museum hosts Dino Fest for a blast from the past
Tickets are still on sale for the event. Weekend passes are currently $35 and include an entry on both days, a hologram laminate pass and lanyard, 20% off any official merch, and early entry on Saturday.
Single-day tickets are also available for $17 if purchased in advance online, or $20 on the day of at the door.
