Big Planet Made (BPM) Entertainment: K-Pop Groups & Solo Artists Signed to the Label

Big Planet Made (BPM) Entertainment is making headlines as reports claim SHINee superstar Taemin might join the music label. Several famous Korean artists are currently signed under BPM Entertainment, including Viviz.

BPM Entertainment was established in 2021. The music label announced a strategic alliance with Swing Entertainment, a subsidiary of one of Korea’s biggest entertainment companies, CJ ENM. The company also partnered with Million Market, a hip-hop label initially established by SM Entertainment in 2012.

BPM Entertainment started its journey in 2021 but quickly established a flourishing environment for rising artists to join. The K-pop group Viviz, comprising former GFriend members including Eunha, SinB, and Umji, is currently signed under BPM Entertainment.

Award-winning Korean singer Lee Mujin is also under BPM Entertainment. The 23-year-old debuted in 2018. but he got his exposure in 2020 when he joined Sing Again and finished in the third position.

Since then, Lee Mujin has released an extended play, Room Volume 1, several singles and sang for K-dramas like Business Proposal (“Sweet”), Hospital Playlist Season 2 (“Rain and You”), and Now, We Are Breaking Up (“Come Rest with Me”).

Another notable singer of BPM Entertainment is former NU’EST member Ren, who joined the company in 2022 after NU’EST’s disbandment. The 28-year-old K-pop icon released his first extended play, Ren’dezvous, under BPM Entertainment on June 13, 2023. The mini album sold over 21,674 copies within the first week, ranking 11 on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart.

Former Wanna One singer Ha Sung Woon is also under BPM Entertainment. He was previously part of two K-pop groups, Wanna One and Hotshot. In 2019, the vocalist debuted solo with the extended play My Moment. Since then, Sung Woon has released over seven EPs, the latest under BPM, titled Strange World.

Other artists under BPM Entertainment include Superstar K2 contestant Huh Gak and Be’O.

Former Sistar member Soyou left BPM Entertainment in January 2024.
