“This album, to me, feels like a way to restart, in terms of my sharing,” Billie Eilish said of her latest LP, Hit Me Hard and Soft, in our Rolling Stone cover story in May. Now, on the heels of dropping one of the best albums of the year (so far) and releasing her “Birds of a Feather” video, Eilish officially kicked off her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour in support of her latest studio project of the same name — and tickets are quickly selling out.

“Three years ago, on Happier Than Ever, one of her most vulnerable moments came in ‘My Future,’ where Eilish sang, ‘I’m in love with my future/Can’t wait to meet her,'” Rolling Stone described in the Hit Me Hard and Soft album review. “Her future self has turned out to be a real piece of work — everything the 19-year-old Billie could have hoped for. Hit Me Hard and Soft makes you marvel at how far she’s traveled as a pop artiste. But it’s also a propitious omen that the greatest Billie is yet to come.”
Eilish embarked on the North American trek of her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour in late September, with dates set for Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. Here’s what fans should know about seeing Eilish play the new tracks on tour this year.
How to Buy Billie Eilish Tickets Online
The best way to buy Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour tickets online is directly through Ticketmaster. While most of Eilish’s tour dates have sold out, fans can buy and sell stubs through Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange program, which helps keep stubs to Eilish’s tour out of the hands of bots.
According to Ticketmaster: “The artist wants to give fans, not scalpers, the best chance to buy tickets at face value. To help achieve this, the tour will be using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange where, if needed, you can resell your ticket to other fans at the original price paid. To help protect the Exchange, Billie Eilish has also chosen to make tickets for this tour mobile only and restricted from transfer.”
That said, Ticketmaster says that some states, including New York, Illinois, and Colorado, have passed laws on unrestricted ticket resale. Tickets are currently listed on resale sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, Gametime, Viagogo, and TicketNetwork. However, while fans might find concert tickets on secondary resale sites, “the artist encourages fans to use the Face Value Exchange.”
How Does Ticketmaster’ Face Value Exchange Work?
Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange resale option works a lot like you probably think it does. Basically if a fan wants to list a ticket for sale, or buy a ticket for a sold-out show, Ticketmaster will list the ticket for that particular date for same price a fan paid for the show. That way, fans can still buy tickets to sold-out shows without having to pay a higher amount.
