Actor Billy Bob Thornton will bring his band, The Boxmasters, to the Indianapolis metro as part of their 2024 Love & Hate Tour.

The Boxmasters will perform at Hendricks Live!, Plainfield's new performing arts center, Oct. 2.

Hendricks Live! launched its inaugural season this spring, with 2000s-era singer-songwriter Five For Fighting as its first national act. Nineties indie icon Lisa Loeb will perform at the 600-seat theater this July.

Thornton is an Academy Award-winning actor and screenwriter, perhaps best known for his performances in "Sling Blade," "A Simple Plan," and the "Bad Santa" franchise, as well as television and streaming programs such as "Hearts Afire," "Fargo" and "Goliath."

Tickets for the Oct. 2 performance are already on sale at hendrickslive.org/events. Prices range from $35 to $65, including fees.
