Billy Eichner Joins ‘American Horror Story’ Season 7 to Wear Tank Tops, Yell at Ghosts
The host we love to watch scream at strangers will now be screaming at … ghosts! Billy Eichner of TruTV’s Billy on the Street is joining the cast of American Horror Story.
As always with Ryan Murphy’s anthology series, the seventh season is tightly under wraps, except for a few key details — Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will be returning, and the first episode begins on election night, when Trump won. Eichner will play a close confidant to Paulson, and according to Deadline, “will be wearing mysterious tank tops.”
Screaming, or at least loud, harried talking, has become Eichner’s trademark in almost all of his guest roles and appearances on other shows, such as Bob’s Burgers, Difficult People, Parks and Recreation, and of course, where all the yelling began, on Billy on the Street.
At first, Eichner may seem like an odd choice for American Horror Story, but imagine Billy screaming, “MA’AM, FOR A DOLLAR, SHOW ME WHERE THE GHOSTS ARE!” at Sarah Paulson, and try to tell me that won’t make for great TV.
