Jayson Tatum, Ella Mai Welcome First Baby Together, Snap Family Photos During Paris Olympics
Jayson Tatum and Ella Mai have officially welcomed their first baby together— bringing the newborn out for the 2024 Paris Olympics!
Saturday night (Aug. 10), videos of the couple began swirling about the internet, showing Tatum taking celebratory photos with his newly acquired gold medal. The Grammy award-winning singer is seen wearing a USA Basketball jacket while holding their new bundle of joy.
Tatum, Mai, Jayson’s son Deuce, and the rest of their family appear at the end of the video, snapping a picture together. However, outside of the viral video, neither of the superstars has posted about the new milestone on their social media accounts.
Rumors of Ella Mai’s pregnancy hit the web in June after Tatum led the Boston Celtics to an NBA title, winning his first Larry O’Brien trophy. Pictures and videos showed the “Boo’d Up” songstress rocking the Celtics star’s jersey backstage and at an afterparty. The No. 0 on her jersey bulged from a belly ballooning with life.

Jayson Tatum and Ella Mai’s relationship can be traced back to their first public appearance together at Michael Rubin’s annual July all-white party in 2020. The couple was recently spotted wearing matching green outfits at a wedding for Marcus Smart, Tatum’s former teammate, in 2023.
Footage of Tatum and Mai’s new bundle of joy arrived as Team USA’s men’s basketball team secured yet another gold medal for America. The Olympic gold medal game occurred on Saturday, with the USA facing off against France. It all came down to the wire, as the French players swarmed the hoop multiple times with their length and premier perimeter play. But, when the game mattered the most, Steph Curry got deep in his bag and hit a flurry of unbelievable three-pointers to lift the USA over France, 98-78. With the win, the USA men’s basketball team have won 17 gold medals out of the 20 Olympics they have participated in.
Steph Curry puts the whole country of France to sleep.
