Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Has the Cutest ‘Morning Exercise’ Buddy in New Photos That Show She’s at One With Wildlife
Working out alone is boring. That’s why Bindi Irwin’s 3-year-old daughter Grace Warrior has a special “morning exercise” buddy — and they couldn’t be cuter together!
Bindi’s mom Terri Irwin shared new photos of her granddaughter on Instagram recently, captioned, “Morning exercises are always more fun with a friend!” The friend she’s referring to? An adorable kangaroo!

In the snap, Grace is wearing the cutest white cap with a rainbow on the front. She has on white floral pants and a matching white shirt in the snapshot. Grace is mimicking her kangaroo friend by bending down and touching the ground next to her feet, just like the kangaroo is doing. Twinning! In the second photo, Grace reaches over to pet the kangaroo, and we can see another kangaroo hanging out in the background. It looks like such a pretty day — how could you not be motivated to work out in conditions like this?!
It’s so sweet to see how comfortable Grace is with wildlife. These incredible animals are actually her best friends, which would have made her grandpa, the late Steve Irwin, so proud.
“I love her confidence with the animals! ??” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “She is getting so big! What a beauty! ??”
“I can’t believe how big she’s getting and so beautiful.????” one person said.
Grace loves wildlife, but she seems to have a special connection to kangaroo. Earlier this summer, Terri shared a cute photo of Grace in a Minnie Mouse dress feeding a kangaroo a snack from the palm of her hand. “Grace and her best friend @australiazoo.??” she captioned the photo.
“We were kind of this wild family,” Bindi, who shares Grace with husband Chandler Powell, told SheKnows in 2023 about her childhood. “I grew up within Australia Zoo, so my home and my backyard is a sanctuary filled with wildlife. Growing up, we traveled a lot for our conservation work as well, and no matter where we were or what we were doing, we would always have playtime together as a family.”
She added, “I was always running around in the creek or running around with animals or climbing a tree. Honestly, looking back, I now really revel in the fact that I was so lucky to be able to have that childhood. I feel very, very blessed that I got that time with my family to run around as a wild child.”
And now she’s passing on that cool childhood to her daughter Grace, and we love seeing it. What a beautiful full-circle moment!
